Now, on to this week's challenge, SFC4012 Specialty Paper!

This week's theme is Specialty Paper.  Don't we all own some amazing papers?  How about we put some on our cards.  I'll let you choose which paper you want to share, how about some beautiful printed paper, lovely shimmery paper, great mirrored cardstock, fun textured paper, stunning foreign paper, see through vellum, clear transparencies, there's just so many choices.  Did you know that Squigglefly now sells amazing Designer paper color paper sets that you can print out?  Pick some gorgeous paper and make a card for this week's challenge.  Let us start out with some great inspiration from the Holley Hobbyists.

Pat Martin created this wonderful wintertime card using handmade paper, a beautiful die cut snowflake from glitter paper and some of the new designer paper from artist Inger Harding.  This paper comes in an amazing collection which gives you a whole array of printed color papers and die cut images for just $5.00.  Her image comes from the "Winter Wonderland Papers" collection.

Jan Marshall  created a beautiful fall card with warm color and metallic die cut paper.  She's using a lovely new image from Cheryl Alger called Autumn Bench Sitter.  What a delightful flower she added, I just love the amazing papers she is using here and how well she layered them.  Isn't her coloring gorgeous?

Elizabeth Hart designed this wonderful Halloween themed card  using  image called Jen is Purrfect Costume.  This stamp is from artist Cheryl Alger.  What an adorable card with the cutest printed and embellished papers.  Purrrfect!

Charlene Mitchell designed this delightful fall card.  She's using two of the newest image just released at the Squigglefly store this week.  One is Cheryl Alger's new Autumn Bench Sitter and the other image is from Fawn Palmer called Three Little Pumpkins.  Look at how her paper matches her adorable flowers!  SO cute! She also has a layer of vellum behind her saying and her image.

Lisa Minkler crafted this delightful card using a great image from artist Cheryl Alger. This little girl has some sassy attitude and she's called Petunia.   She's also using amazing specialty paper from Squigglefly artist Inger Harding .  This paper you can download straight from the site and print it out yourself!  How great is that?  You get a whole designer collection of color Christmas papers and designs for just $5 and they print out in color.  The paper line used here is called A Joyful Christmas Papers.  Didn't her card turn out amazing?  check out that little tag...that handmade flower...

Tammy Hair created this sweet card using a cute baby and some delightful printed paper.  I just love the delightful sentiment she added.  Here's the front and inside of her card.  This image is called "Baby in a Tutu (Coming and Going)."  How cute is that? tutu cute, if you ask me!

And lastly, I (Holley Barnhart from Holley's Blog)  used a great image from artist Fawn Palmer called Sexy Witch.  I layered it on some fun skull and crossbones paper.  Then I added some great borders, one is a shimmery glitter stream of bat and theother is a glossy black border of words and skulls.
I hope these cards have inspired you to make an inspired card this week.  You are always welcome to play no matter what images you use, but to be eligible for the prize, please use a stamp from Squigglefly!

Squigglefly Challenge #38, SFC3812 Go to the Corner!

Welcome to the Squigglefly Challenge Blog!

Are you ready for this week's challenge? Well first let me tell you about last week's winner.  The contest last week was to create Halloween theme card.  Congrats to Linda Osterwise for creating a wonderful  "Pumpkin Puppies" card using Madie and Mel's Pumpkin Fun from artist Crissy Armstrong.

Please contact Holly at usyungs@gmail.com, for your prize.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now, on to this week's challenge, SFC3812 Go To The Corner!

This week's theme is called "Go to the Corner!"  I am sure if you ever misbehaved in school, you might have heard that.  Since I know most of you were NEVER like that, then let me say that the challenge this week is to add wonderful decoration to the CORNERS of your card, either one, two, or ALL of them. Let us start out with some great inspiration from the Holley Hobbyists.

Pat Martin created this wonderful card adding beautiful pearls in her corners and brads in other corners, what a delight!  This image is called Polar Bears from artist Deena Perrault.  I love her double layering.

Jan Marshall  created a beautiful card filled with amazing corner embellishments.  Also, just check out that gorgeous paper weaving she did, wow!!  This image is too cute, it's artist Keith Williams and it's called Dweeblinks Giddy.  I just love her coloring and cutting.

Elizabeth Hart designed this wonderful Halloween themed card  using  image called A Good Little Witch from artist Lynne Stansbery.  She's added wonderful Spiders and spider webs in her corners. What a delightful Halloween card. I love how she framed the image and put some fiber around it!

Charlene Mitchell designed this delightful card of man's best friend.  This darling image comes from artist Lynne Stansbery and is called "Tennis Ball Anyone?"   She added some wonderful gold detail stickers to her corners, how sensational!

Lisa Minkler crafted this delightful card using a great image from artist Lynne Stansbery called "Tennis Ball Anyone?"  I love how this dog has that slightly guilty look in his eye and you can see the decor she put on the card is torn up HOMEWORK!  Oops.  I am guessing some one's dog is in a little trouble

Tammy Hair created this sweet card using Sandy Sommerfeld's Mr Wool Daisy.  Isn't he just too cute?  I love the wonderful saying and cute flowers.  I just love the "Miss Ewe," that's so punny.  Adorable, Tammy!

And lastly, I (Holley Barnhart from Holley's Blog)  used an amazing new stamp from artist Keith Williams called Tammy meets the Dweeblinks.  The corners I added are great die cut images that I think go perfect with the theme on the card.

I hope these cards have inspired you to make an inspired card this week.  You are always welcome to play no matter what images you use, but to be eligible for the prize, please use a stamp from Squigglefly!

Squigglefly Challenge #36, SFC3612 Polka Dot Challenge

Welcome to the Squigglefly Challenge Blog!

Are you ready for this week's challenge? Well first let me tell you about last week's winner.  The contest last week was to create a card in a  monochromatic pattern.  The winner is Carolyn of Luv My Cards.  She made an awesome card in oranges using a darling witch called Winnie the Witch from artist Jane Beljo.  Be sure to check out Carolyn's card.

Please contact Holly at usyungs@gmail.com, for your prize.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now, on to this week's challenge, SFC3612 Polka Dot Challenge

This week's challenge is very simple.  Create a card that has polka dots somewhere, on the card base, in the image, or on the embellishments.  Let's start with some inspiration from the Holley Hobbyists.

Pat Martin went all out with an easel card that shows off two fantastic Squigglefly image!  She used the wonderful vintage looking Kris Kringle from Marla Shega on the front, and when opened it stands up to reveal Three Stockings Waiting by Lynne Stansbery ready for him to fill

Linda Weber created a beautiful fall card with a stamp from artist Lynne Stansberry.  This image is called Apples and Pumpkins.  She's added some polka dot paper and gorgeous polka dot ribbon too.  I don't know about you but seeing those pumpkins just makes me want some pie! (apple pie for the hubby)

Jan Marshall  created a beautiful card filled with green and white.  Such a wonderful die cut on top and pretty polka dots in the background.  This stamp image is called A Purrfect Day by artist Fawn Palmer. I love her sheer polka dot ribbon!

Elizabeth Hart designed this polka dot beauty using Fawn Palmer's image called A Friend For You.  I just love her polka dot ribbon. Both sayings she is showing are also included with the stamp.  Isn't it adorable how the shirt matches that gorgeous paper stripe?

Charlene Mitchell shows a sweet card with a polka dot accent and a wonderful background with some bazzill swiss dotted cardstock.  She's using a great stamp called Sassy Sally and Bella Hide and Seek from artist Cheryl Alger.  Oh, aren't those butterflies the cutest?

Lisa Minkler crafted this fancy dimensional ornament.  All I can say is "WOW!"  This amazing creation uses an image from artist Lynne Stansbery called Antique Ornament #4.  Stunning creation.  There's a whole line-up of amazing ornaments from artist Lynne Stansbery now available at the store.

Tammy Hair created a wonderful card with an image from one of Squigglefly's newest artists!  This adorable image is from artist Keith Williams and is called Ferald Sleepwalking.  I just love the adorable saying she added, "Some people have trouble sleeping, but I can do it with my eyes closed!"  Ha!  That would be me.

And lastly, I (Holley Barnhart from Holley's Blog)  used an adorable stamp  from artist Fawn Palmer called A Friend For You.  Both the sayings shown come with this adorable image.  This is the same image that   used above.  She used the mirror image though.  Isn't it great to see two cards with the same image?  Gives you lots of ideas!
I hope these cards have inspired you to make a polka dot inspired card this week.  You are always welcome to play no matter what images you use, but to be eligible for the prize, please use a stamp from Squigglefly!
