To help us make sure we don't miss your artwork, we are asking that if you do use an online gallery that you leave us a comment on the challenge post. That way we'll be sure to have a member of the Squigglefly team who is a member of that gallery (SCS, CDAC, PCP, etc) can validate your entry.
1.) If you up-load your creation to any on-line photo galleries, please use SFC4312 for your keywords when loading your creation photo there. 1b) please leave a comment on the challenge blog post so that someone from Squigglefly can validate your entry for the prize.

2) You don't *have* to include a Squigglefly image on your creation, but in order to qualify for the prize you will need to use one! You can also combine SF images with non-SF images to qualify! Don't have one? There are several FREEBIES you can grab from the Squigglefly store, hop on over there. Those images will qualify you for the prize.

Squigglefly Challenge #42, SFC4212 Fall Time Challenge

Welcome to the Squigglefly Challenge Blog!

Are you ready for this week's challenge? Well first let me tell you about last week's winner.  The contest last week was to create a card that was related to music.  The winner was Mette who made a stunning winter wonderland card (click here to see) using Inger Harding's wonderful paper and embellishment set called Winter Wonderland Papers.

The winner can contact Holly at usyungs@gmail.com, for your prize.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now, on to this week's challenge, SFC4212 Fall Time!

This week's theme is Fall Time.  There two choices that you can make you card in our "FALL TIME" challenge
EITHER Use all fall colors, browns, reds, oranges, yellows, etc... (and your card can be any topic, including fall of course)  OR  Use any Fall themed holiday/topic such as Halloween, Thanksgiving, Harvest, Pumpkins, Leaves, etc...(and color you card as you like!)

Let's start with some examples made by the Holley Hobbyists:

Pat Martin created this Fall creation using wonderful Halloween themed stamps. The character she is using is called Ghost Vampire by artist Denise Clemmensen. What a spooky card with stunning color for Halloween.  What a great stand up card with nice dimension.

Jan Marshall  created a beautiful card using warm Halloween themed colors and a teenage theme.  This great image is called Goth Girl by artist Fawn Palmer.  I love the great saying "Oh My Goth"  Sounds just like something kids would say. And are't those flowers amazing?

Elizabeth Hart designed this wonderful Halloween themed card in wonderful fall oranges and greens using an image called Quilty Pumpkin.  This stamp is from artist Fawn Palmer.  What a great dimensional card with beautiful printed papers and a perfect pumpkin center. What cheer!

Charlene Mitchell designed this delightful fall card using one of the wonderful Shy Bear stamps. This adorable stamp line is from artist Lynne Stansbery.  The stamp is called Bouquet Bear.  I love her amazing fall colors and the beautiful frame surrounding her image.

Lisa Minkler crafted this stunning card using a great image from artist Cheryl Alger. He's called Noah and his Autumn Leaves.  Her card is perfect for this challenge, full of fall fun and fall color!  WOW.  Check out the amazing fall background.  Aren't you just wow'ed with her coloring of Noah?

Lisa also created this stunning Halloween theme creation  for this week using a wonderful image from artist Denise Clemmensen called Scared Cat on a Pumpkin.  What a great gift bag!  Is it filled with Tricks or Treats?  I am guessing Treats...Lisa is just too sweet!

Tammy Hair created this sweet card using an adorable image from artist Cheryl Alger.  Her card is filled will fall colors and a fall image.  This stamp is called Polly and her Pumpkin.  Look at that sweet little girl, just imagining what she is going to make with that pumpkin!

And lastly, I (Holley Barnhart from Holley's Blog)  used a great image from artist Cheryl Alger called Charlie Wicked Witch of the West.  I don't know how wicked she looks, perhaps a little mischievous, but she sure is the cutest witch around.  What a wonderful image for Halloween which is just over a week away now.
I hope these cards have inspired you to make an inspired card this week.  You are always welcome to play no matter what images you use, but to be eligible for the prize, please use a stamp from Squigglefly!

This week's theme is Specialty Paper.  Don't we all own some amazing papers?  How about we put some on our cards.  I'll let you choose which paper you want to share, how about some beautiful printed paper, lovely shimmery paper, great mirrored cardstock, fun textured paper, stunning foreign paper, see through vellum, clear transparencies, there's just so many choices.  Did you know that Squigglefly now sells amazing Designer paper color paper sets that you can print out?  Pick some gorgeous paper and make a card for this week's challenge.  Let us start out with some great inspiration from the Holley Hobbyists.

Pat Martin created this wonderful wintertime card using handmade paper, a beautiful die cut snowflake from glitter paper and some of the new designer paper from artist Inger Harding.  This paper comes in an amazing collection which gives you a whole array of printed color papers and die cut images for just $5.00.  Her image comes from the "Winter Wonderland Papers" collection.

Jan Marshall  created a beautiful fall card with warm color and metallic die cut paper.  She's using a lovely new image from Cheryl Alger called Autumn Bench Sitter.  What a delightful flower she added, I just love the amazing papers she is using here and how well she layered them.  Isn't her coloring gorgeous?

Elizabeth Hart designed this wonderful Halloween themed card  using  image called Jen is Purrfect Costume.  This stamp is from artist Cheryl Alger.  What an adorable card with the cutest printed and embellished papers.  Purrrfect!

Charlene Mitchell designed this delightful fall card.  She's using two of the newest image just released at the Squigglefly store this week.  One is Cheryl Alger's new Autumn Bench Sitter and the other image is from Fawn Palmer called Three Little Pumpkins.  Look at how her paper matches her adorable flowers!  SO cute! She also has a layer of vellum behind her saying and her image.

Lisa Minkler crafted this delightful card using a great image from artist Cheryl Alger. This little girl has some sassy attitude and she's called Petunia.   She's also using amazing specialty paper from Squigglefly artist Inger Harding .  This paper you can download straight from the site and print it out yourself!  How great is that?  You get a whole designer collection of color Christmas papers and designs for just $5 and they print out in color.  The paper line used here is called A Joyful Christmas Papers.  Didn't her card turn out amazing?  check out that little tag...that handmade flower...

Tammy Hair created this sweet card using a cute baby and some delightful printed paper.  I just love the delightful sentiment she added.  Here's the front and inside of her card.  This image is called "Baby in a Tutu (Coming and Going)."  How cute is that? tutu cute, if you ask me!

And lastly, I (Holley Barnhart from Holley's Blog)  used a great image from artist Fawn Palmer called Sexy Witch.  I layered it on some fun skull and crossbones paper.  Then I added some great borders, one is a shimmery glitter stream of bat and theother is a glossy black border of words and skulls.
I hope these cards have inspired you to make an inspired card this week.  You are always welcome to play no matter what images you use, but to be eligible for the prize, please use a stamp from Squigglefly!
