Here's this week's challenge:
SFC124 - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Happy Birthday to me! Ha ha ha...November is my birthday month, so I'm selfishly asking to see YOUR birthday card creations. I'll just pretend they're all for me! Make a birthday card for a woman, a man, a child or a pet! Let's see a birthday card!
**********
This week's samples were created by my team, Marlene's Marvels.  I hope you enjoy their creations as much as I did!

JANE created this whimsical card, using Wanda by artist Suzanne Urban.
I'm so glad she used PURPLE in her card - my favorite color!

Deena used Birthday Cake Desire by artist Cheryl Alger in her adorable card.  The fabulous patterned paper she used really highlights that cake well!

Rhonda created with Bored Beatrice by artist Marlene S(yeah, that's me!)
This image is actually a set which comes with a different sentiment, but
I just giggled out loud when I saw she had come up with her own
funny sentiment!

Jan used Rock it Out by artist Chesney Young for her card.
I just love the banner she created.  So crafty!

Rebecca used images from the Birds of a Feather set by artist Bonita Jones.
Her soft coloring technique makes this little bird even cuter, don't you think?!

Of course, you know I always save the raunchiest for last.
And you know I am the culprit who usually creates the raunchiest cards.
This is your warning.  If you don't like raunchy, you may skip quickly
past this card.  Otherwise, be prepared to be mooned!
MARLENE (that's me) used images from You Deserve the Moon set.
(The image is one of my own doodles.)
Happy Birthday to me (soon)!  I mooned myself.  Yeah. That was intelligent.

Here's this week's challenge:
SFC123 - NO PATTERNED PAPER!

Make a creation without using any patterned/ designer paper
**********
This week's samples were created by my team, Heather's Headliners. I'm a little biased but I thought the team had some very creative was to color and embellish images.

Stephanie used "Autumn Wind" from new Squigglefly artist Gemma Mortlock. Stephanie kept it clean and simple with a single layer card enhanced with score lines. The image is colored with colored pencil. Don't you love how the eyes pop?

Holley used "Postulation" drawn by company co-owner Chesney Young. Holley used repeated scallops and some buttons with a sideways sentiment. Nice card, it made me think! LOL

Terri used "Happy Tweetmas!" by artist Diane Carubia. Terri created an embossed background and lightly sanded it to highlight the embossing. Those diecut bells are really cool too.

Pat used "Fall Fairy" by new Squigglefly artist, Rachel Goble. Pat used several color blocks, metallic leaves and flourish diecuts. What a great sentiment from Trader Joe's (a natural foods supermarket). Pat and her husband recently celebrated their 36th wedding anniversary- congratulations!

Debbie used "Angel with Bouquet" by artist Inger Harding. Debbie used Stickles glitter glue for glitz and white flocking for the coat collar. Don't you like the glow around the angel?

Tammy used "Autumn Wind" by new Squigglefly artist, Gemma Mortlock. I was so fascinated by Tammy's card that I asked her how she made it. Tammy used metallic paint to stamp the swirls and after it dried she shaded the background with Distress Ink. Then she printed the digital image on the decorated cardstock and then "watercolored" the image with Distress Ink. Great mystical/ dreamlike quality, Tammy.

And finally, Heather (that's me) used "Stuck Santa" by artist Diane Carubia. The white textured cardbase was spritzed with green metallic mist and then gray ink was sponged over a stencil. A fast background that is different every time.
