That's right - it's nearly May, and you know what that means! One a Day in May is BACK! : )
We'll begin pre-sales for One a Day in May beginning April 1st and running through April 30th.
If you're new to One a Day in May, you're in for a real treat and tons of fun! The idea is to pre-buy 31 images for $31. You'll be able to download a new digi each day in May. If you don't get in on the pre-sale, you can still purchase the images in the shop, but they will be at regular price, and not the $1 each pre-sale price.

Now, on for this week's challenge, SFC1012, this week the theme is called "Follow the Recipe"
This week's challenge has a recipe for your card. There are three items that must be included:
1) paperclip (metal or colored, plain or fancy shaped);
2) flower (any type or amount);
3) pattern paper (may be scrapbook paper, hand-stamped paper, newspaper, computer printed paper, digi-paper or ?);
Once you have these three items on your card, the rest is up to you. And as always, we would love for you to include a wonderful image from Squigglefly.
Let's start out with some fun samples to inspire you this week from the Holley Hobbyists.
Pat Martin made a wonderful Tween Birthday card. She used a wonderful circular clip with pretty printed papers in the background and a fun fabric flower. This image comes with great sayings and is called Tween by artist Fawn Palmer.

Theresa Gerber made this fun and Sassy theme card using "And Then I Said..." by Fawn Palmer. I just love it. I can so hear this lady's voice tell her friends, "and THEN I said to him...." but if you want to know what she said to him, you're going to have to go to the Squigglefly site to see the stamp!! That hand shaped clip is just too cute, it makes me think of that saying, Talk to the hand.
Shawna Sealander did a wonderful job with this image called Lazy Paisley by artist Fawn Palmer. She used adorable papers in her images, a great clip to hold the tag and a sweet little flower brad. Perfect for the challenge! Ahhh, I want to curl up in this chair right now.
Charlene Mitchell created an adorable bunny theme card using one of the images available in Easter Footsies by Fawn Palmer. This cute set comes with 4 different images and 4 wonderful sayings to go with them. Charlene uses a sweet bird theme clip, matching striped paper and beautiful flowers to go along with it. Below shows the rest of the saying that appear inside her card.
Tammy Hair made this amazing card using Danaus Plexipus from artist Fawn Palmer. This card is just stunning, need I say more? I love her background paper and how it looks just like newspaper. The butterfly that she put on the flower and the beautiful pearly center. Stunning.
And lastly, I (Holley Barnhart from Holley's Blog) love this fun girl from artist Fawn Palmer called Ho-Hum. Isn't she adorable? I used colored paper clips to hold the image to my card, a beautiful printed cardstock as my border and some floral bling to top it off!
