This week's challenge is SFC0414 Have a Heart, Please!
The challenge this week is Have A Heart, Please! Please use a heart on your card somewhere. This could be a heart inside your image, a heart embellishment, diecut hearts, heart printed ribbon, heart paper, heart brad, or even a heart shaped card! Show us your hearts. You are welcome to make a Valentine, but as the Hobbyists show you in their examples, you don't have to have a Valentine theme. We'd love for you to use a Squigglefly image, to be prize eligible it's required, but everyone is welcome to play along.
Let's start with some inspiration from the Holley Hobbyists:
Pat Martin created this wonderful using pretty heart paper as her background. These adorable stamps are from artist Pamela Lehto called Country Kids Set 3. What an adorable couple with a cute "Life is Good" sentiment.
Jan Marshall created this gorgeous card using a brand new stamp called Elephant from our newest Squigglefly artist Enid Barnes. She added a very elegant frame and heart decor to her card along with a gold tag for Happy 60th!
Elizabeth Hart created an adorable card using a brand new stamp from our new artist Enid Barnes. This stamp is Boston Terrier. The fun Squigglefly Sentiment she has added is just perfect! I love her heart paper as well as the heart embellishments.
Charlene Mitchell used a beautiful heart shaped brad on the sentiment A Big Little Hello along with a brand new image from Carmen Gamble's Sweet Pea Twins Plant. What gorgeous paper she used, is that hearts I see on it?
Darlene Pavlick created this love filled card using a stunning image from Pamela Lehto called Ruffled Frame as well as using another image from the same artist called Cup of Hearts. Don't you love how she used the same Hearts on the base of the card?
Tammy Hair created a card full of hearts using a wonderful new image from artist Cheryl Alger called Noah, Tweety, and Waldo. Don't you just love the sequin bling she added?
And lastly, I (Holley Barnhart from Holley's Blog) am using a beautiful image from Squigglefly artist Pamela Lehto called Country Kids 1. She's covered in hearts on her dress, but I also added hearts on the board of my background, the Happy day sentiment I used, and there's tiny hearts on the top and bottom of my die cut!
I hope these cards have inspired you to make a card to play along this week. You are always welcome to play no matter what images you use, but to be eligible for the prize, please use at least one stamp from Squigglefly!
We realize that many people don't have blogs, but instead participate in our challenges using on-line galleries. We love that you are helping us spread the word about Squigglefly! However, many of the galleries require passwords and not all of us at Squigglefly belong to every gallery or group. To help us make sure we don't miss your artwork, we are asking that if you do use an online gallery that you leave us a comment on the challenge post. That way we'll be sure to have a member of the Squigglefly team who is a member of that gallery (SCS, CDAC, PCP, etc) can validate your entry.
1.) If you up-load your creation to any on-line photo galleries, please use SFC0414 for your keywords when loading your creation photo there. 1b) please leave a comment on the challenge blog post so that someone from Squigglefly can validate your entry for the prize.
2) You don't *have* to include a Squigglefly image on your creation, but in order to qualify for the prize you will need to use one! You can also combine SF images with non-SF images to qualify! Don't have one? There are several FREEBIES you can grab from the Squigglefly store, hop on over there. Those images will qualify you for the prize.
3) You have one week to complete the challenge and it will close Sunday evening. The winner will be announced at the same time the new challenge post comes up...so be sure to check back EVERY Monday to see if you are a winner!
4) Please leave a direct link to your entry in the comments below. The linking tool works sporadically and we don't want to miss your project! (No back-linking please.)
