Squigglefly Challenge #112 - SFC112 - WATERWORKS!

Squigglefly Challenge #112 - SFC112 - Waterworks!

First - let's announce the winner of last week's challenge, SFC111 - Touch Feely!
The WINNER of that challenge is : Charlene Mitchell

Congratulations Charlene Mitchell!!

We would love to have more participants using Squigglefly images to make the challenge results more competitive. Remember- we have freebies available on the Squigglefly website.
Charlene, please contact Holly to collect your prize winnings and don't forget to grab the "Award Winner" badge on the sidebar to display on your blog to show everyone you are a winner!

Thank you to everyone who participated in the challenge last week. An extra special thank you goes to Squigglefly's faithful followers who join us each week. Thank you!

Now, onto THIS week's challenge: WATERWORKS!
It's SUMMERTIME, and it's HOT. Water. Need water!
Some ideas: Watercolors, water splashes, water themed images...you get the idea!
Let's see how YOU incorporate WATER into your cards this week!
***********************************
My team, MARLOONEY's MARVELS created these terrific cards for your inspiration.
We hope you are inspired!

Kim came up with this beauty, using artist Cheryl Alger's April Shower
You have to laugh at how she's holding her nose here. I did.

Jan created a splash with artist Tracy Malnofski's Beach Baby
Don't we all wish our sandcastles looked that great?

Rhonda used artist Mark Hicks' Baby Shower to create this beauty.
Who can resist those little water droplets?

Rebecca showed us her watercolor techniques with Cute Fairy Girl by artist Paulette Long
I just love the background she created!

Jane's card showcases On the Beach by artist Cheryl Alger
Don't you wish you were a kid again, splashing around in the ocean?

Stephanie wow'd me with this beauty using Feeding Frenzy by artist Cheryl Alger
The way she's done the water in the bowl is just so creative!

Dani used WATERCOLORS to make her sky stand out, using Rich Davis' new release: Heart Tree
I love the soft muted colors she used in her card.

Deena used artist Michelle Bertuzzi's Let's Sail image (it's a great set!) to create this serene beauty.
I just love the "waves" she created with a border punch.

Heather the Headliner used Boogie Board Girl from artist Jackie Matthews. Her card says it all!

And finally, Marlene (that's me) used artist Lynne Stansbery's Good Bye, Cruel World
(because we all know that toilets use WATER to flush away....stuff.)
I also used glossy accents to give the toilet a nice wet shiny look.
My toilet is so clean you can lick it. Yummy.

***Please take a look at the challenge rules- we updated them recently*** We realize that many people don't have blogs, but instead participate in our challenges using on-line galleries and we love that you are helping us spread the word about Squigglefly! However, many of the galleries require passwords and not all of us at Squigglefy belong to every gallery or group. To help us make sure we don't miss your artwork, we are asking that if you do use an online gallery that you leave us a comment on the challenge post. That way we'll be sure to have a member of the Squigglefly team who is a member of that gallery (SCS, CDAC, PCP, etc) can validate your entry.
1) If you up-load your creation to any on-line photo galleries, please use SFC112 for your keywords when loading your creation photo there.
1b) please leave a comment on the challenge blog post so that someone from Squigglefly can validate your entry for the prize.
2) You don't *have* to include a Squigglefly image on your creation, but in order to qualify for the prize you will need to use one! You can also combine SF images with non-SF images to qualify! Don't have one? There are several FREEBIES you can grab!
3) You have one week to complete the challenge and it will close Sunday evening. The winner will be announced at the same time the new challenge post comes up...so be sure to check back EVERY Monday to see if you are a winner!
4) Please leave a direct link to your entry in the comments below. The linky thing isn't working for us this week and we don't want to miss your project! (No back-linking please!)

Thanks for stopping by and we look forward to seeing your creations!!

In order to qualify for a prize, you MUST use a Squigglefly image.
Don't have one? Try one of our FREEBIES!
Thanks for joining us for this week's challenge!
