Now, on for this week's challenge, SFC0812 this week the theme is called "Spring is in the Air"

What does Spring mean to you...Flowers Blooming? Children Playing? Gardening? Easter? Spring Break? St Patricks Day? just playing outside? well, how about finally packing up those christmas decorations? Show me some bright and beautiful springtime cheer.
*** Extra task-must use some ribbon/fibers somewhere!

Here's some wonderful samples to inspire you. There's some great new stamps in the store this week. Squigglefly would also like to welcome a new artist this week, Louise Gardner.

Check out the fun ideas from this week's team, the Holley Hobbyists:

Pat Martin used a wonderful image called Brrrr My Valentine by artist Sandy Sommerfeld. I think this lovely penguin is good for a card on any day of the year. Look at all of Pat's beautiful fibers and lace!

Theresa Gerber made this beautifully colored image called Hippity Hop from artist Suzanne Urban . I love the bright yellow and that easter egg! Too cute. It looks like the bunny is scurrying away from leaving that easter egg.

Shawna Sealander did a sparkly-sweet card with this adorable penguin holding a heart shaped balloon, it's called "Valentine Brrrrloon" by artist Sandy Sommerfeld. Isn't that little ribbon bow perfect?

Charlene Mitchell created an adorable easter card using a wonderful new image from artist Linda Birkinshaw called "Easter Frenzy." I just love the rabbit, and the image itself uses ribbon, but she also added an adorable bow to her card as well!

Tammy Hair made this amazing card using "Cocktail Waitress" by artist Fawn Palmer. I just love her spring printed papers and those gorgeous orange buttons. She colored up that dress in wonderful Springtime colors. This image also comes with 5 other funny sayings!

And lastly, I (Holley Barnhart from Holley's Blog) love this spring fun puppy theme card with Balance Ball by artist Linda Birkenshaw
to include the "extra task" I added this wonderful image called Chinese Characters Hello from artist Fawn Palmer to the INSIDE of my card with some nice ribbon behind it (Note: this photo is slightly enlarged).I hope these samples leave you guys with some wonderful ideas for making a card in our challenge this week. Here's some rules for playing in our challenge:

We realize that many people don't have blogs, but instead participate in our challenges using on-line galleries. We love that you are helping us spread the word about Squigglefly! However, many of the galleries require passwords and not all of us at Squigglefly belong to every gallery or group. To help us make sure we don't miss your artwork, we are asking that if you do use an online gallery that you leave us a comment on the challenge post. That way we'll be sure to have a member of the Squigglefly team who is a member of that gallery (SCS, CDAC, PCP, etc) can validate your entry.

1.) If you up-load your creation to any on-line photo galleries, please use SFC0612 for your keywords when loading your creation photo there. 1b) please leave a comment on the challenge blog post so that someone from Squigglefly can validate your entry for the prize.

2) You don't *have* to include a Squigglefly image on your creation, but in order to qualify for the prize you will need to use one! You can also combine SF images with non-SF images to qualify! Don't have one? There are several FREEBIES you can grab from the Squigglefly store, hop on over there. Those images will qualify you for the prize.

3) You have one week to complete the challenge and it will close Sunday evening. The winner will be announced at the same time the new challenge post comes up...so be sure to check back EVERY Monday to see if you are a winner!

4) Please leave a direct link to your entry in the comments below. The linking tool works sporadically and we don't want to miss your project! (No back-linking please.)

We can't wait to see your project!
