This week's challenge is SFC3613 Talk To Me
The challenge this week is to include a sentiment on your card. It's that easy. You can add a wonderful sentiment that comes with many of the images sold, you can add your own sentiment, you can buy a sentiment separately; there's a whole bunch of fun sentiments at Squigglefly for just 99 cents! You can also add an embellishment that has a sentiment on it. Any of these choices qualifies. We'd love for you to use a Squigglefly image, to be prize eligible it's required, but everyone is welcome to play along.
Let's start with some inspiration from the Holley Hobbyists:
Pat Martin crafted a wonderful Halloween theme card using a great witch from artist Pamela Lehto called Witch in Pole. She's using a great Squigglefly sentiment from artist Charlene Mitchell "Hex and Drive." Too cute, Pat!!
Jan Marshall created this gorgeous decoration. WOW. She's using a wonderful stamp from artist Pamela Lehto called Fall Wreath. Combined with a Happy Thanksgiving sentiment from Squigglefly artist Charlene Mitchell. Lovely.
Elizabeth Hart designed a wonderful stand up card using a brand new image from Cheryl Alger. This image is called Can You Hear Me Now? She added a beautiful handmade sentiment to the inside of her card.
Charlene Mitchell used two fun new images from artist Cheryl Alger. Both these images are included in the set Whatcha Growin Max. She's added a sentiment A Big Little Hello sold by Squigglefly.
Darlene Pavlick created this fun card with new images from artist Cheryl Alger. These images come in a set called Play Hard or go Home Noah. It includes the little boy, saying shown, and two more great sentiments for only $4. I love how different the images look just do to her wonderful coloring. I also LOVE how she overlaid the saying on her images. Nice.
And lastly, I (Holley Barnhart from Holley's Blog) used a great image from artist Judith Hart. This image is called Temptation. Temptation I bet!! I added a wonderful Squigglefly sentiment from artist Charlene Mitchell Thinking of You.
I hope these cards have inspired you to make a card to play along this week. You are always welcome to play no matter what images you use, but to be eligible for the prize, please use at least one stamp from Squigglefly!
We realize that many people don't have blogs, but instead participate in our challenges using on-line galleries. We love that you are helping us spread the word about Squigglefly! However, many of the galleries require passwords and not all of us at Squigglefly belong to every gallery or group. To help us make sure we don't miss your artwork, we are asking that if you do use an online gallery that you leave us a comment on the challenge post. That way we'll be sure to have a member of the Squigglefly team who is a member of that gallery (SCS, CDAC, PCP, etc) can validate your entry.
1.) If you up-load your creation to any on-line photo galleries, please use SFC3613 for your keywords when loading your creation photo there. 1b) please leave a comment on the challenge blog post so that someone from Squigglefly can validate your entry for the prize.
2) You don't *have* to include a Squigglefly image on your creation, but in order to qualify for the prize you will need to use one! You can also combine SF images with non-SF images to qualify! Don't have one? There are several FREEBIES you can grab from the Squigglefly store, hop on over there. Those images will qualify you for the prize.
3) You have one week to complete the challenge and it will close Sunday evening. The winner will be announced at the same time the new challenge post comes up...so be sure to check back EVERY Monday to see if you are a winner!
4) Please leave a direct link to your entry in the comments below. The linking tool works sporadically and we don't want to miss your project! (No back-linking please.)
Wow thank you so much for picking me as the winner of last week's challenge! :)
