This week's challenge is SFC4613 Ribbon or Lace
The challenge this week is Ribbon or Lace. So create a card or any other object but be sure to add some ribbon or lace too! Also, if your image has ribbon or lace as part of its picture, that counts too! We'd love for you to use a Squigglefly image, to be prize eligible it's required, but everyone is welcome to play along.
Let's start with some inspiration from the Holley Hobbyists:
Pat Martin created this Christmas theme card with lace on the edge. This gorgeous image comes from Squigglefly artist Pamela Lehto. The image used here is Santa Cone. Wouldn't this make a Merry Christmas card?
Jan Marshall created this fun birthday card with polka dot ribbon using an image from Dawn Collins. The image is Patchwork Apple. What a delightful card, perfect for this week's challenge! Don't you love the brads on the corners?
Elizabeth Hart did this challenge with wonderful bow made of ribbon. This image is designed by artist Cheryl Grant Alger and is called Half Santa Moon. What a gorgeous Santa image and only $3 at the Squigglefly store! Isn't that fluff on his hat fun?
Charlene Mitchell used a gorgeous Cardinal stamp from artist Pamela Lehto. Her coloring is just stunning on that bird! I love how she wove her ribbon on the card. Great way to incorporate it for this week's challenge Charlene.
Darlene Pavlick created this beautiful winter card using a Stick Tree image from Pamela Lehto. The top of the card looks like lace and she has ribbon bows wrapped around her trees, perfect for this week's challenge!
Tammy Hair created beautiful fall card using Butternut Angel from artist Pamela Lehto. Her coloring matches the colors of the cardstock and ribbons she used perfectly! Gorgeous work Tammy! (Also, the wonderful image she is using has a ribbon in it, that would count for this week's challenge as well!!)
And lastly, I (Holley Barnhart from Holley's Blog) used a great image from artist Judith Hart. This image is called Herald Angel. I added some gorgeous lace that I got on a vacation I took one summer in Istanbul, Turkiye.
I hope these cards have inspired you to make a card to play along this week. You are always welcome to play no matter what images you use, but to be eligible for the prize, please use at least one stamp from Squigglefly!
We realize that many people don't have blogs, but instead participate in our challenges using on-line galleries. We love that you are helping us spread the word about Squigglefly! However, many of the galleries require passwords and not all of us at Squigglefly belong to every gallery or group. To help us make sure we don't miss your artwork, we are asking that if you do use an online gallery that you leave us a comment on the challenge post. That way we'll be sure to have a member of the Squigglefly team who is a member of that gallery (SCS, CDAC, PCP, etc) can validate your entry.
1.) If you up-load your creation to any on-line photo galleries, please use SFC4613 for your keywords when loading your creation photo there. 1b) please leave a comment on the challenge blog post so that someone from Squigglefly can validate your entry for the prize.
2) You don't *have* to include a Squigglefly image on your creation, but in order to qualify for the prize you will need to use one! You can also combine SF images with non-SF images to qualify! Don't have one? There are several FREEBIES you can grab from the Squigglefly store, hop on over there. Those images will qualify you for the prize.
3) You have one week to complete the challenge and it will close Sunday evening. The winner will be announced at the same time the new challenge post comes up...so be sure to check back EVERY Monday to see if you are a winner!
4) Please leave a direct link to your entry in the comments below. The linking tool works sporadically and we don't want to miss your project! (No back-linking please.)
Congrats to the DT for another week of Wonderful creations!!! Thanks for the challenge to play in too!!
