This week's challenge is SFC1414 Bright Spring Colors!
The challenge this week is called Bright Spring Colors. Don't you just love how fresh and bright things look in Spring? How about we translate those colors to our cards this week. Your cards don't have to be spring in theme, just use some nice bright spring colors, which ever colors are your Spring Color Favorites. We'd love for you to use a Squigglefly image, to be prize eligible it's required, but everyone is welcome to play along.
Let's start with some inspiration from the Holley Hobbyists:
Pat Martin used some bright and beautiful papers in addition to some bright and beautiful embellishments with a lovely angel called Dogwood Angel by artist Pamela Lehto. Nice work Pat!
Jan Marshall created this wonderful Easter filled standup card. How adorable! Isn't this clever the way the card stands up? She is using two lovely image from artist Carmen Gamble, Happy Easter Peeps and Easter Peeps.
Elizabeth Hart created a lovely card great manly theme card and used bright colors for it. How great is that? This new image is from artist Pamela Lehto called Riding Gear .
Charlene Mitchell made this sweet card using a sweet girl from artist Cheryl Alger. This new image is called May I Have This Dance? Isn't that ladybug she added on her card too cute?
Darlene Pavlick created this lovely spring time card. This elegant image is from artist Pamela Lehto called Spring Bouquet Cup. Don't you love the bright beautiful flowers and ribbons?
Tammy Hair created this beautiful spring card using a brand new image from artist Lynne Stansberry. This cutie is called Common Knowledge. I love how the topic is books and her card background is text. Clever!
And lastly, I (Holley Barnhart from Holley's Blog) thought I would make a fun card for both Spring and Easter using a bright green striped background using a wonderful new image from artist Carmen Gamble called Easter Tree.
I hope these cards have inspired you to make a card to play along this week. You are always welcome to play no matter what images you use, but to be eligible for the prize, please use at least one stamp from Squigglefly!
We realize that many people don't have blogs, but instead participate in our challenges using on-line galleries. We love that you are helping us spread the word about Squigglefly! However, many of the galleries require passwords and not all of us at Squigglefly belong to every gallery or group. To help us make sure we don't miss your artwork, we are asking that if you do use an online gallery that you leave us a comment on the challenge post. That way we'll be sure to have a member of the Squigglefly team who is a member of that gallery (SCS, CDAC, PCP, etc) can validate your entry.
1.) If you up-load your creation to any on-line photo galleries, please use SFC1414 for your keywords when loading your creation photo there. 1b) please leave a comment on the challenge blog post so that someone from Squigglefly can validate your entry for the prize.
2) You don't *have* to include a Squigglefly image on your creation, but in order to qualify for the prize you will need to use one! You can also combine SF images with non-SF images to qualify! Don't have one? There are several FREEBIES you can grab from the Squigglefly store, hop on over there. Those images will qualify you for the prize.
