Squigglefly Challenge #42, SFC4213 Leave Me Be

Welcome to the Squigglefly Challenge Blog!

Hello everyone! Welcome to this week's Squigglefly Challenge.  Are you ready? Well, first let me tell you last week's winner.  We had a great challenge last week to create a halloween card. The winner this week was Heidi Brawley who created a delightful witchy card using Cheryl Alger's image The Good Witch

Please contact Holly at usyungs@gmail.com for your prize.

This week's challenge is SFC4213 Leave Me Be

The challenge this week is called Leave me be.  There's two ways you can do this challenge, either you can choose to incorporate "leaves" as in tree leaves into your card --they can be in your image or as embellishments (i.e. diecuts, brads, stamped images, on the paper....) OR you can use the word "Leave" like in traveling or leaving home, and create a card about travel!  Either way.   We'd love for you to use a Squigglefly image, to be prize eligible it's required, but everyone is welcome to play along.
Let's start with some inspiration from the Holley Hobbyists:

Pat Martin crafted a beautiful fall tag using wonderful leaf shaped brads using a brand new image called Christmas Mouse from artist Carmen Gamble.  Too adorable.  Isn't this tag perfect for fall time?

Jan Marshall  created this awesome notebook using this background size leaf stamp from artist Elizabeta Kushner.  This image is called Leafy Background.  What a lovely creation for a teacher's gift or any Fall time treat!

Elizabeth Hart did this challenge with leaves in her image as well as on her card.  This new image created by artist Elizabeta Kushner is called Acorn Flourish.  She used beautiful fall theme paper which she die cut on to her card with some fun embellished leaves. Wow, cute!!

Charlene Mitchell also has a perfect image for this challenge using a leaf filled delight.  This cute image from artist Elizabeta Kushner is called Autumn Wreath..  Don't you love the fall colored leaves on the wreath as well as that adorable leaf embellishment?

Darlene Pavlick created this Halloween theme card using a great image  from Judith Hart.  This image is called Halloween Circle.  I just love the leaves she added to it as well as the paper that has leaves printed on it, what a nice touch!

Tammy Hair created beautiful Halloween card using Rusty Punkin Patch from artist Carmen Gamble.  She added some fun Die cut leaves to complete the challenge, though the image itself has some gorgeous pumpkin leaves on it!  Beautiful coloring Tammy!

And lastly, I (Holley Barnhart from Holley's Blog)  used a great image from artist Fawn Palmer.  This cutie comes is called Naughty Witch and comes with the funny joke shown!  It's showing a witch flying as well as the leaves in the sky, so I think it covers the Travel aspect of this week's challenge as well! It's just $3 at Squigglefly!
I hope these cards have inspired you to make a card to play along this week.  You are always welcome to play no matter what images you use, but to be eligible for the prize, please use at least one stamp from Squigglefly!

We realize that many people don't have blogs, but instead participate in our challenges using on-line galleries. We love that you are helping us spread the word about Squigglefly! However, many of the galleries require passwords and not all of us at Squigglefly belong to every gallery or group. To help us make sure we don't miss your artwork, we are asking that if you do use an online gallery that you leave us a comment on the challenge post. That way we'll be sure to have a member of the Squigglefly team who is a member of that gallery (SCS, CDAC, PCP, etc) can validate your entry.

1.) If you up-load your creation to any on-line photo galleries, please use SFC4213 for your keywords when loading your creation photo there. 1b) please leave a comment on the challenge blog post so that someone from Squigglefly can validate your entry for the prize.

2) You don't *have* to include a Squigglefly image on your creation, but in order to qualify for the prize you will need to use one! You can also combine SF images with non-SF images to qualify! Don't have one? There are several FREEBIES you can grab from the Squigglefly store, hop on over there. Those images will qualify you for the prize.

3) You have one week to complete the challenge and it will close Sunday evening. The winner will be announced at the same time the new challenge post comes up...so be sure to check back EVERY Monday to see if you are a winner!

4) Please leave a direct link to your entry in the comments below. The linking tool works sporadically and we don't want to miss your project! (No back-linking please.)
