This week's challenge is SFC0614 Square Pegs!
The challenge this week is Square Pegs! Please create a square shaped card this week. We'd love for you to use a Squigglefly image, to be prize eligible it's required, but everyone is welcome to play along.
Let's start with some inspiration from the Holley Hobbyists:
Pat Martin created this wonderful square shaped notebook. These stunning image comes from artist Enid Barnes and is called Tiger. Don't you love the colors and how it matches the fibers?
Jan Marshall created this gorgeous in green card covered in hearts using a brand new stamp called Toadally Awesome from Squigglefly artist Fawn Palmer. This image and sentiment also come with an additional sentiment for only $3. Don't you love how the toad is holding his hand to show a heart shape?
Elizabeth Hart created an adorable card using a brand new stamp from artist Pamela Lehto. This stamp is Valentine Cup Cake Be Mine. Don't you love the way she decorated the die cut frame surrounding her image?
Darlene Pavlick created this Love me Tender filled card using a stunning image from Enid Barnes called Elvis. Isn't this stamp awesome? I just love the background paper and white ink stitching.
Tammy Hair created this bright and cheerful card artist Judith Hart called Romantic Getaway. Don't you just love the banner you added with those tiny butterflies?
And lastly, I (Holley Barnhart from Holley's Blog) am using a beautiful image from Squigglefly artist Fawn Palmer called Burlesque Beauty Magenta which also comes with the saying shown. How awesome is that?
I hope these cards have inspired you to make a card to play along this week. You are always welcome to play no matter what images you use, but to be eligible for the prize, please use at least one stamp from Squigglefly!
We realize that many people don't have blogs, but instead participate in our challenges using on-line galleries. We love that you are helping us spread the word about Squigglefly! However, many of the galleries require passwords and not all of us at Squigglefly belong to every gallery or group. To help us make sure we don't miss your artwork, we are asking that if you do use an online gallery that you leave us a comment on the challenge post. That way we'll be sure to have a member of the Squigglefly team who is a member of that gallery (SCS, CDAC, PCP, etc) can validate your entry.
1.) If you up-load your creation to any on-line photo galleries, please use SFC0614 for your keywords when loading your creation photo there. 1b) please leave a comment on the challenge blog post so that someone from Squigglefly can validate your entry for the prize.
2) You don't *have* to include a Squigglefly image on your creation, but in order to qualify for the prize you will need to use one! You can also combine SF images with non-SF images to qualify! Don't have one? There are several FREEBIES you can grab from the Squigglefly store, hop on over there. Those images will qualify you for the prize.
3) You have one week to complete the challenge and it will close Sunday evening. The winner will be announced at the same time the new challenge post comes up...so be sure to check back EVERY Monday to see if you are a winner!
4) Please leave a direct link to your entry in the comments below. The linking tool works sporadically and we don't want to miss your project! (No back-linking please.)
