Welcome to the Squigglefly Challenge Blog!
Hello everyone. Are you ready for this week's challenge? Well, it's going to be a great one. Last week we didn't have a winner to the challenge, so this week's winner will get a double prize. That's right, two goodies from the Squigglefly store!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now, on to this week's challenge, SFC0613 Pink and Black Combo!
To make a card for this week's challenge, please create a card using pink and black. It's that easy. As always, we encourage use of a Squigglefly image, to win the prize you must use one, but to play along, it's not required.
Let's start with some examples made by the Holley Hobbyists:
Pat Martin crafted this beautiful card using artist Cheryl Alger's adorable stamp called I love you this much girl. Doesn't she look great in pink and black? It's just perfect in polka dots too. What a great valentine! Perfect for this week's challenge.
Jan Marshall created a this lovely card with a wonderful image from artist Cheryl Alger. This image is called Sassy Sally's Heart Balloon. Jan dressed it up by adding some additional balloons to the one little Sally is holding. She makes a beautiful birthday card.
Elizabeth Hart designed a perfect pink and black card using Have a Heart Boy from artist Cheryl Alger. I love the three pearls she added on the side and the beautiful bow. Any boy bringing me cookies this week is sweet!
Charlene Mitchell designed this pretty card with an adorable image. Artist Diane Carubia created this image and it is called Puppy Rose. I just love her use of Stitching. In addition to making this a Happy Birthday card, I also think this image would be gorgeous for a Valentine!
Lisa Minkler crafted this stunning card using a stamp from newest artist Gayle Search. This image is called Bush Shack. I love her amazing coloring and wonderful attention to detail.
And lastly, I (Holley Barnhart from Holley's Blog) used a great image(s) from artist Gayle Search from her collection called Cute Elephant Set. She has a whole bunch of adorable elephants and a couple of matching accessories too! The whole set is available for only $3.
I hope these cards have inspired you to make a card to play along this week. You are always welcome to play no matter what images you use, but to be eligible for the prize, please use at least one stamp from Squigglefly!
We realize that many people don't have blogs, but instead participate in our challenges using on-line galleries. We love that you are helping us spread the word about Squigglefly! However, many of the galleries require passwords and not all of us at Squigglefly belong to every gallery or group. To help us make sure we don't miss your artwork, we are asking that if you do use an online gallery that you leave us a comment on the challenge post. That way we'll be sure to have a member of the Squigglefly team who is a member of that gallery (SCS, CDAC, PCP, etc) can validate your entry.
1.) If you up-load your creation to any on-line photo galleries, please use SFC0613 for your keywords when loading your creation photo there. 1b) please leave a comment on the challenge blog post so that someone from Squigglefly can validate your entry for the prize.2) You don't *have* to include a Squigglefly image on your creation, but in order to qualify for the prize you will need to use one! You can also combine SF images with non-SF images to qualify! Don't have one? There are several FREEBIES you can grab from the Squigglefly store, hop on over there. Those images will qualify you for the prize.
3) You have one week to complete the challenge and it will close Sunday evening. The winner will be announced at the same time the new challenge post comes up...so be sure to check back EVERY Monday to see if you are a winner!
